On the 13th video game software company Ubisoft announced that the next major expansion will be released next March.
As Assassin's Creed Valhalla continues its Year 2 post-launch support for the single-player franchise, led by Ubisoft Sofia in Bulgaria the main protagonist Eivor will have to embrace their destiny as Odin, the Norse god of battle and wisdom during this upcoming expansion.
In this upcoming story that is releasing March 10th next year, the dwarven kingdom of Svartalheim is fallings and amid this chaos Odin's son, Baldr has been taken prisoner by the fire giant Surtr.
During this desperate quest to rescue your son, players will be able to unleash new godlike powers in this mythological world and hopefully further prevent Ragnarok.
Anyone that pre-orders or purchases Dawn of Ragnarok between the 13th of December and the 9th of April will receive the Twilight Pack for free.
These exclusive bonuses include the Dellingr's Envoy Raven Skin, the Harvrdr Lynx Mount, the Twilight Gear Set and the Algurnir Dane Axe Weapon.
However, there is also something for all players of the franchise right now with the two free cross-over stories involving both Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Eivor and Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Kassandra.
In close collaboration between Ubisoft Quebec and Ubisoft Montreal, the two teams sought to answer the question of: "what happens when two Assassin's Creed heroes meet?"
Well, that is exactly what Ubisoft hope to explore in these two fee expansion stories, one for each game.
To unlock the story for Valhalla, players must have reached settlement level four and completed the quest "A Wise Friend".
For Assassin Creed Odyssey, Players must have completed Chapter One and have reached Megaris to access this content, however it is recommended by Ubisoft that the game story should be completed to avoid spoilers.
