Thomas Cook under fire once more after employees have been left without a final payment and public demanding answers on what went wrong.
9,000 former Thomas Cook staff members have been left without a job when the business had failed to obtain a last-attempt rescue deal to save the firm and be able to pay their employees.
After the events over the past couple of days with the government having to send planes over to Thomas Cooks' partner resorts to pick up stranded UK holidaymakers, things have only gotten worse with ex-employees not being paid for their service up to the liquidation of the company.

Following this, a petition has been sent to Downing Street with over 50,000 signatures demanding an answer on what had caused the company’s sudden disaster after 178 years of service, making it one of the oldest holiday firms in the UK.
The general public blames the carelessness of the business as holiday lover, Stephanie Jones said: “The money hasn’t been used properly, I don’t understand how a company as big as [Thomas Cook] can suddenly just have no way to pay their workers, or get their customers back home”.
The Insolvency Service’s Redundancy Payment Service has told Thomas Cook, staff, to apply for their salary and redundancy related payments and that in 14 days claims should be paid.
